COLOUR WINDING WORKSHOP

Saturday 8 June 2024, 10.30am - 1.30pm
Led by Margo Selby, this workshop will explore the interaction of colour through the creation of yarn windings.
Yarn windings are often used by weavers to consider the juxtaposition of colour. As well as being a tool for design, yarn windings can become beautiful miniature artworks in themselves. Under Margo’s guidance participants will create one or more windings which explore ideas relating to stripe, proportion, as well as colour theory.
