Deckchair in Woodbridge

On the occasion of its 20 year anniversary, Wawa founder Richard Ward invited a selection of textile designers to contribute a fabric to upholster his iconic folding rocking deckchair.

We at Margo Selby Studio were thrilled to be asked and put forward our Woodbridge fabric. The exhibition showcased designs from Melanie Bowles, Minnan Hui, Zahra Jaan, Carol Lake, Beatrice Larkin, Alice Milnes, Eleanor Pritchard and Kezia Regan.

The Wawa folding rocking deckchair is a lightweight and practical design classic, constructed in East London from sustainable steamed beech, folding flat to just 6 inches.
