Warehouse and Fulfilment Coordinator - www.margoselby.com
Location: Margo Selby Studio, Whitstable
Hours: 20-35 hours per week (5 mornings a week minimum) Starting as soon as possible.
Salary: £24,000 pro rata
About the Role:
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Warehouse and Fulfillment Coordinator to join our team. This role is physically demanding, involving lifting heavy boxes, rugs, and performing general warehouse tasks. You’ll be responsible for managing a high volume of orders, ensuring that all packages reflect the exceptional quality of our high-end brand. Attention to detail is essential, as you’ll oversee stock quality control and ensure every package is beautifully and accurately prepared.
Key Responsibilities:
Order Fulfillment: Efficiently manage, pack, and dispatch customer orders while maintaining a focus on presentation and brand quality.
Stock Management: Maintain an organised and well-managed stock system, ensuring items are stored to preserve quality.
Quality Control: Inspect incoming deliveries and stock to ensure all items meet quality standards.
Workspace Organisation: Keep the warehouse and workspace clean, organised, and functional.
Packing Oversight: Supervise the packing process to ensure accuracy and high presentation standards.
Production Coordination: Prepare and coordinate fabric stock for cushion and scarf production, liaising with makers to ensure smooth operations.
Customer Service: Occasionally assist with customer inquiries via email or face-to-face interactions, delivering exceptional service.
Skills and Requirements:
Physical Strength: Comfortable lifting and moving heavy packages and rugs.
Organisational Skills: Capable of maintaining a clean, well-organised workspace and stockroom.
Attention to Detail: Thorough and careful in all tasks, ensuring accuracy and quality.
Problem Solving Ability: A methodical approach with strong common sense to prioritize and resolve issues effectively.
Customer Service: Confident handling customer enquiries, both written and in person.
