Aquila Rug
Margo Selby has joined forces with Christopher Farr to produce the Aquila rug, the design directly relates to her handwoven artworks.
Made in pure wool using a hand-tufting technique, a rug such as Aquila is at the intersection of Margo Selby’s practice and the embodiment of her tenet: Art-Into-Industry.
“I use thread to create abstract geometric artworks that explore repetition and transition, symmetry and asymmetry, the dynamic and the stable. Colour is a driving force behind my work; I enjoy the infinite effects of many subtle hues and tones that can be explored when blending from one colour to another.”

Underlay + Rug care
An underlay provides cushioning that increases the longevity of a rug; we advise customers to use a good quality anti-slip underlay, for this reason, and to prevent a rug from creasing and slipping, whether on a carpet or a hard floor. Underlay also protects the floor covering beneath from transference of colours or fibres from the back of the rug.
