Vela Rug
The Vela hand knotted rug is a playful, large scale linear design in a bright colourway. This statement rug draws on the studio’s continued fascination with typography - experimenting with letter forms to create an abstract composition.
Made in 100% hand dyed wool using a traditional asymmetrical knotting technique on an upright loom. This creates a premium quality long-lasting rug. Hand knotted rugs are of the finest quality and tend to be weighty and flexible. The dense pile of the wool adds both depth and texture to the colours.
The Vela rug is available to view in our Whitstable showroom. We welcome visitors 10am - 4pm, Monday to Friday.

Underlay + Rug care
An underlay provides cushioning that increases the longevity of a rug; we advise customers to use a good quality anti-slip underlay, for this reason, and to prevent a rug from creasing and slipping, whether on a carpet or a hard floor. Underlay also protects the floor covering beneath from transference of colours or fibres from the back of the rug.

Shipping and returns
UK Delivery
UK retail orders are charged £3.95, with FREE shipping on purchases over £100. We aim to dispatch in-stock items within 2 to 4 working days.
International Delivery
International retail orders are sent with DDP (Delivery Duty Paid), meaning that taxes and duties are included in the final price. Delivery charges are weight based and are confirmed at checkout.
Returns
In-stock items may be returned by customers for a full refund within 14 days of receiving your order.
Please note, for hygiene reasons, opened bedding cannot be returned.
