Rio | Chenille
Price per metre
For Rio, inspiration was drawn from the architectural forms of Brazil: Oscar Niemeyer, and tile designer Athos Bulcão. The design features the tessellation of interlocking shapes, in a strong, graphic palette of navy and gold. This jacquard fabric is woven in chenille, a soft furry yarn named after the French for caterpillar; it is a robust stitched double-cloth with an embossed velveteen texture.
Rio was made as part of the Curvature Collection, in collaboration with luxury London emporium Casa Botelho.
